The City of Urbandale will begin pavement maintenance on the roundabout at the intersection of 142nd Street and Douglas Parkway on Thursday, June 8. Work will primarily take place at night to reduce disruptions to traffic. The intersection will be closed to all through traffic at 7 PM and be re-opened by 6 AM the next morning. Detours will be posted. The project is expected to take 4-5 nights of closures, depending on weather and nightly progress. The roundabout pavement will have full depth PCC patching and partial depth HMA patching, followed by an HMA overlay.
