  1. Litter Gitter Single Sack Challenge for Earth Day

    April 22, 2026, 8:00 AM - April 24, 2026, 5:00 PM

    Step 1: Sign Up Email Scott Hock at shock@urbandale.org by Wednesday, April 15 to register. Step 2: Pick Up Your Trash Bag Stop by City Hall or the Parks & Recreation Office during business hours to grab a trash bag. Please pick it up around Earth Day (Wednesday, April 22). Step 3: Choose Your Cleanup Spot Pick a location that needs a little love—along a trail, in a parking lot, at a park, or anywhere you see litter and can safely collect it. Step 4: Drop Off Your Filled Bag Return your filled trash bag to the Parks & Recreation Office by Arbor Day (Friday, April 24). Thank you for helping keep Urbandale clean and green!
