  1. Baby Bounce

    Baby and caregiver will enjoy bouncing, singing, shaking, and playing together! Experience/practice counting, rhythm, body part identification, animal sounds, sensory stimulation, fine and gross motor skills, and more! We'll have 20-25 minutes of interactive programming, followed by an unstructured playtime where children and caregivers can play together and/or interact with peers. Target age: 0-24 months, with an adult. Our age recommendations tell you the developmental level we plan for, but every child is different. Feel free to try them out and choose the story time(s) that feel right. Everyone is welcome! Location: Meeting Room A/B Registration is strongly advised as attendance will be limited, with slots given first to those registered. Dates & Time: Baby Bounce will be at 9:00 AM on Mondays February 5, 12, & 26 and on Thursdays February 1, 8, 15, & 29 at 9:00 AM. As well as the 1st and 3rd Saturdays on February 3 & 17 at 9:30 AM. Please note that we do a storytime cycle of three weeks on and one week off (to allow for planning time). Our cycle starts on Monday, January 29th and goes through Saturday, February 17th. Our February break will be the week of February 19th through the 25th, however you can check out Block Party instead on Monday morning and Tuesday evening of the break! Storytimes resume on Monday, February 26th. 

  2. Toddler Time

    This short-attention span story time is perfect for toddlers. We'll share shorter books, rhymes, and music with the understanding that sitting still is tricky sometimes. Caregivers should plan on attending and helping little ones to engage, feel comfortable, and enjoy early literacy! We'll have 20-25 minutes of interactive programming, followed by an unstructured playtime where children and caregivers can play together and/or interact with peers.Target age: 2-3 years old, with an adult. Our age recommendations tell you the developmental level we plan for, but every child is different.   4. Tween Painting: Dazzling & Delicious Donuts

    Spend an evening with your peers painting and indulging in a delicious donut. Our Youth Assistant will demonstrate how to draw and paint a realistic looking donut based on the style of American Artist Wayne Thiebaud. Decorate your donut to reflect your favorite flavor or invent the next new, decadent flavor. We’ll even provide real donuts, everyone who attends can choose one to study and enjoy while you paint!
