  1. Fantastic Friday Craft Kits-to-Go!

    June 25, 2021, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM @ Urbandale Public Library

    Each Friday in June we will provide a different fun, hands-on, craft project or activity to take home and enjoy! Target Age: Preschool and upAvailable to grab in the Children’s Section of the library during Grab 'n Go hours (click here for current service hours), while supplies last.  Please note: These are Craft ‘Kits-to-Go’ and take home because we do not have seating and space for doing crafts in the library at this time. We ask that you do not take more than one craft kit per child in your household each week. 

  2. Comedy Juggling Show Plus Great Big Bubbles

    June 25, 2021, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Urbandale Public Library at Library Outside

    Bring the whole family to see balls, clubs, rings, and more sent flying through the air! Performer Jason Kollum provides tons of comedy, improvisation, and audience participation. After the show, Jason will dazzle and delight with hundreds of bubbles at a time, including GIANT bubbles! Target audience: FamiliesLocation: Outside the library on the South side. Registration encouraged but not required.

  3. Friday Flicks: The Pink Panther

    We’re pleased to announce the return of our popular Friday Flicks program this Summer! Stop by the Library for a free movie for adults ages 18+.  This month we are showing movies with colors in the title to align with our Summer Reading Program theme, "Reading Colors Your World." The Pink Panther (Not Rated/ 1963/ 113 minutes) Maladroit French police inspector Jacques Clouseau (Peter Sellers) attempts to foil high-society thieves who have targeted a prize jewel called the Pink Panther.Limit of 20 participants to maintain social distancing.
