Run for the Badge 5K with Mayor Andeweg

Join the Urbandale Police Department as we "Run for the Badge" on Saturday, October 12th, 2019 at 8:00 a.m.

Police officers will be anchoring as runners complete one of the three courses provided by the City: a 5K, 1-mile run, or a 1-mile walk. The Run for the Badge is in support of the brave men and women of law enforcement who put their lives on the line every day to protect the public. All donations collected at the 5K run/walk will be given to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.

Check-in on the Day of the Event

On Saturday, October 12th, 2019 please plan to arrive between 7-7:30am for check-in at Martin Field next to the Urbandale Police Department, 3740 86th Street, Urbandale, IA. The run will start at 8AM.

Parking is available in the front lot of the police department and at Walker Johnston Park. All proceeds will be donated to Run for the Badge, an organization that creates memorials for officers lost in the line of duty. Anyone interested in helping the Mayor reach his $1,000 goal can donate online.
