Bulk Item Collection

If you can not wait for the Spring Cleanup, the city will collect bulky household items on the second and fourth Fridays of the month, by appointment. There is a fee for this service. Call 515-278-3950 or email engpw@urbandale.org to make an appointment.

Bulk Item Drop-off

On the second Saturday of every month, from 8 AM until Noon, Urbandale residents can drop-off large items that don't fit in their garbage bin. Learn more here.

Log & Limb Collection

Too much yard waste to bag or bundle? The city will collect large amounts of brush and tree trimmings on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month during yard waste season, by appointment. There is a fee for this service. Call 515-278-3950 or email engpw@urbandale.org to make an appointment. Log & Limb collection is billed based on a per trip charge:

• First trip charge (partial or full load): $75
• Each additional (partial or full load trip): $75
