The Municipal Code of the City of Urbandale, Chapter 58 requires that utility businesses obtain a permit to make excavations in city streets, public right of way (ROW), and public properties. As of June 2nd, 2014 all ROW permits submitted to the City of Urbandale must use a new Metro ROW Permit Application Form.
Final approval of right of way permit will be granted after payment of $105 is received.
The City of Urbandale requires that utility businesses obtain a permit for core drilling of pavement in city streets, public right of way, and public properties. Permit needs to be paid for prior to work. Each core hole in pavement is $200 fee.
