Project Description:
The WRA intends to construct a new sanitary gravity trunk sewer line parallel to the existing Joint Trunk sewer and Common Trunk sewer generally located along the Walnut Creek in Urbandale, Clive, Windsor Heights, West Des Moines and Des Moines.
The new sewer will not replace the existing gravity sewer, rather, a new sewer line will be constructed adjacent to the existing to provide additional sanitary sewer capacity for growing member communities.
Phase 1 (Joint Trunk West): Generally located along Walnut Creek; from near 142nd Street and Douglas in Urbandale to just east of Campbell Park in Clive.
