Snow & Ice Control

Each winter we can expect about 32 inches of snowfall in Urbandale.  The City takes a serious approach and utilizes maximum resources to efficiently and safely remove snow and ice from our streets.  The City’s  Snow & Ice Control Policy established the City’s policy and level of service with respect to ice control and clearing of the street system during a snow event.
