Safety Committee
The Department has organized a Safety Committee. Their job is to research, develop and author safety policies and procedures and Standard Operating Guidelines for our department. They have been tasked with insuring our compliance with NFPA Standards. In the upcoming months you will see various changes to current policies and SOG's as well as the enactment of new ones.
They will also be investigating any safety incident that occurs. They will make recommendations to mitigate the incident and to help prevent future ones.
It is the Safety Committee's intent and responsibility to keep all members informed of their progress. You will be able to find meeting minutes and other actions of progress posted on this web page.
