Single Stream Recycling
Recycling is a partnership between the City of Urbandale and the Metro Waste Authority.  Single stream recycling uses a recycling container like your current trash container.  The containers are picked up every other week on your normal garbage collection day. Urbandale collection is the Black Lid Schedule.  

To request a different container size or for more information on the single stream recycling program, contact Waste Management at (515) 24-GREEN (244-7336).

Missed Collections
Missed collections should be reported to Waste Management at 24-GREEN (244-7336).  Urbandale's Public Works Department can not collect missed Curb It! recycling.

Extra Containers
MWA offers Curb It! EXTRA for only a $25 delivery charge (or free if picked up) and a $30 annual fee.  This annual subscription is only available by calling MWA at (515) 244-0021.  Each extra cart requires a $30 annual sticker and there is no limit on the number of carts a resident can order.
