The City of Urbandale is committed to providing timely and accurate information to its residents and businesses. The City uses a multi-media approach to reach as many residents and businesses about current events, road closures, service delivery changes, rates, fees, programs and other city business.
The City’s multi-media approach includes utilizing the City’s website, monthly newsletter within the Urbandale Living Magazine, and other official publications. You can always contact the City, M-F, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 3600 86th Street or by calling (515) 278-3900.

The City's website is intended to serve as a comprehensive source of information about the City. The website allows residents and businesses to easily find information and to conduct business with the City online, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
New information can be found on the City’s homepage, within the Calendar and within the “What’s New” section. Doing business with the City online is easily located under the “Go To:” section.

Newsletter:
“The Citizen’s Brief” , is the official newsletter of the City of Urbandale and is published within the Urbandale Living Magazine. The Citizen’s Brief is mailed to every address in the City. You can view the current issue of the Citizen's Brief online.

The City maintains an account on Twitter.com to provide up-to-date information on City events, snow ordinance enactments, community alerts and other relevant information. Follow the City on Twitter to keep up to date.

Official Publications:
All official publications of the City of Urbandale will be published in the “Polk County Press Citizen” or in the “Des Moines Register”. This includes notifications of official meetings and public hearings. Additionally, notices of meetings and public hearings are posted in the lobby of City Hall, 3600 86th Street.
