NATIONAL NIGHT OUT

The Annual "National Night Out”, a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch and Target, is designed to heighten crime prevention and drug prevention awareness,
generate support for local anti crime programs and to strengthen community and police partnerships.

The Urbandale Police Department would like to thank everyone who attended our 3rd Annual National Night Out event on August 2nd, 2011.

With over 1,000 community members and leaders on hand, it was our best event yet! We would like to thank all the local businesses and community agencies that helped us make this an enjoyable event for our community. With the 99 degree day, the community still came out to support a crime free and drug free community. It was a wonderful way for the community to get to know their local law enforcement officials and to learn about services within their community.

The Urbandale Police Department is committed to building relationships with the citizens we serve and protect. We enjoy and value our relationships with our community members and businesses.
