• Armed Robbery Suspects Sought - January 14, 2010
  At approximately 1:17 p.m. two male suspects, one displaying a hand gun, wearing dark coats and ski masks entered the Tobacco Outlet (6535 Douglas Avenue) and demanded money. (Read Full Release)
• Two Individuals Sought in Possible Connection to Recent Burglary - October 14, 2009

• 30-year Old Urbandale Man Dies in Unusual Motor Vehicle Accident - March 11, 2009

• 64-year Old Urbandale Man Dies In Accident At Bulk Mail Center - August 21, 2008
  On Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at approximately 7:34 a.m., Urbandale Police responded to the Bulk Mail Center (4000 109^th Street) on report of a U.S. Postal worker being fatally injured.  (Read Full Release)

• Found Child in Urbandale - April 29, 2008
  On Tuesday, April 28, 2009, at approximately 2:23 p.m., a 3-4 year old boy was located wandering the area in the 9,000 block of Oakwood Drive.  (Read Full Release)
• Fatality Rollover Accident on Interstate 80/35 - August 6, 2007

• Tobacco Compliance Check Results - December 28, 2009
  The UPD conducted a tobacco compliance check on December 7^th and are excited to report that 20 of the 21 businesses checked passed.  (Read Full Release)
• Urbandale Snow Ordinance 69.12 - December 7, 2009
  The Public Works Director is authorized to declare a snow event, as defined in the City's snow and ice removal policy, which will cause enactment of these snow parking restrictions.  (Read Full Release)
• Urbandale Police Partner with Iowa ABD for Tobacco Education and Enforcement - December 1, 2009

• Special Urban Anterless Hunt - September 30, 2009
  The City of Urbandale has ordinances regarding the hunting of deer within the city limits and has passes a yearly resolution that sets the boundaries and season for the special bow hunt.  (Read Full Release)
• Alcohol Compliance Checks Results - September 25, 2009
  On September 23, 2009 Police Officers completed an alcohol compliance check of local area retailers.  Ten of the fifteen retailers passed the checks.  (Read Full Release)
• Alcohol Compliance Checks - September 18, 2009
  During September the UPD will be conducting alcohol compliance checks of local area retailers.  The UPD will also be hosting a TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) training session for area retailers.  (Read Full Release)
• GTSB/T.E.P. Program - June 29, 2007
  In cooperation with the Iowa Governor's Traffic Safety Bureau (G.T.S.B.), the National highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), and the Special Traffic Enforcement Program (S.T.E.P.) the Urbandale Police will set up a "Click It or Ticket".  (Read Full Release)
