Urbandale Mayor and City Council

The Mayor and five City Council Members as the official governing body of the City of Urbandale.  The Mayor and Council Members are elected to four-year terms and there is no limit on the number of consecutive terms one can serve.  City Council meetings are held every other Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall (3600 86^th Street) and are open to the public.  The Mayor acts as the presiding officer of the Council and does not vote.  At least three Council Members are required to conduct an official meeting.  Recent Council agendas and minutes can be viewed at the Document Library.  Archived agendas and minutes can be requested from the City Clerk at (515) 278-3900.
