Economic Development in Urbandale is a partnership between the City, the Urbandale Development Association, the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Dallas County Development Alliance and the Greater Des Moines Partnership.

Urbandale is positioned in the northwest corner of the Des Moines metro area, in Dallas and Polk Counties.  Interstates 80 and 35 pass through Urbandale, providing quick and convenient truck access to Chicago, Kansas City, Omaha, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, and other Midwest regional markets within one day or less.  The Des Moines International Airport offers flights to Los Angels, CA and New York, NY in under five hours.
