The Urbandale Police Department is dedicated to enhancing public safety and maintaining the quality of life for the community we serve.

We are committed to creating and maintaining active police/community partnerships and assisting citizens in identifying and solving problems to improve the quality of life in their neighborhoods.

The Department recognizes that its employees are the vital component to the successful delivery of police services.  We will work to achieve our highest potential by actively involving our employees in neighborhood and/or community problem solving, and by improving these services.
