Board of Plumbing Examiners

The Board of Plumbing Examiners consists of five members, of whom one member must be a licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber, one licensed mechanical contractor with at least five years of experience and three at large members. Members are appointed by the Mayor, approved by the City Council and serve three-year terms.

Board's Areas of Focus:

• Reviews the model Plumbing Code and Mechanical Code, and recommends adoption to the City Council.
• Reviews Plumbing and Mechanical Code appeals.
