Board of Electrical Examiners

The Board of Electrical Examiners consists of five members, of whom one member must be a licensed and active electrical contract, two must be registered professional engineers and 2 are at-large members. Members are appointed by the Mayor, approved by the City Council and serve three-year terms.

The Board meets as needed. Meetings are held at City Hall (3600 86^th Street). Board's Areas of Focus:

• Reviews the model Electrical Code and recommends adoption to the City Council.
• Reviews Electrical Code appeals.
