Adult Sports
Indoor Triathlon
For ages 18 and up. Bike 10 miles, run a 5K and swim 500 yards. Prizes awarded in each age category. Trophies for first place, medals for 2nd and 3rd. Held in February of each year. Individuals: $50.00 and Teams: $80.00
Adult Volleyball
Volleyball is organized by the Urbandale Parks & Recreation Department. The Pre-season coed volleyball league is held from the end of September through the end of October. Registration packet available in late August.
Regular season volleyball runs from the beginning of November through February. Informational packets are available in September.
Adult Basketball
Basketball is organized by the Urbandale Parks & Recreation Department. The Men's Adult Basketball league season runs from the beginning of November through February.
Adult Softball
Adult Softball is run by Urbandale Sports Association. Games are played at Walker Johnston Park, 9000 Douglas Avenue. Registration for the 1st summer season begins in early February. Cancellation decisions are posted on the hotline after 4:00 p.m.
