Meetings

Meets as needed at City Hall (3600 86th Street).

Purpose

  • Review the model Building, Fire, and Housing Codes and recommend adoption by Council.

  • Review appeals of Building, Fire, and Housing Code requirements.

Members

The Board consists of five (5) members (composed of 3 general or homebuilding contractors and 2 members of the general public with a good understanding of building construction with Architects and Engineers given preference for this position).  Members are appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council and serve 3 year terms.
