Purpose

Reviews appeals of the
Zoning Ordinance and
Sign Ordinance.

Appeals may be requested due to special exceptions in
the ordinance, differences in interpretation, or requirements that create
a hardship on a property owner.

Reviews requests for uses that are conditionally
permitted.

Members
The Board consists of five (5) members (no more than 2 may be involved in
real estates sales), which must be residents of Urbandale. Members are appointed by the Mayor
for 5 year terms.
