The City's web site (www.urbandale.org) is intended to serve as a comprehensive source of information about the City.  Information on the web site is organized by audience (e.g., homeowners, visitors, new residents) and by category (e.g., public safety, leisure).

The information on the web site is updated on a regular basis.  To see what information has been added since your last visit to the site, consult the "New" on Urbandale.org section on the home page.

The City is constantly looking for ways to make the web site more valuable.  Any comments about any aspect of the site are welcome and should be sent to the webmaster.

Newsletters

"The Citizen's Brief", the official newsletter of the City of Urbandale is published quarterly and distributed to every every address in the City.  Copies of the newsletter are also available at all City facilities.  To request a copy by mail, please send an email message to webmaster.

Radio

The City broadcasts news, official information, and current weather advisories continuously on 1210 AM, Urbandale Informational Radio.  Tune into 1210AM whenever there is severe weather in the area to get the latest weather watches and warnings.

Official Publications

All official publications of the City of Urbandale will be published in the "Polk County Press Citizen" or in the "Des Moines Register".  This includes notifications of official meetings and public hearings.  Additionally, notices of meetings and public hearings are posted in the lobby of City Hall, 3600 86th Street.
