City Approves Rezoning Request for Walnut Meadows Lot 2

The property is a residential estate and currently contains a single-family residence. It was voluntarily annexed into the Urbandale corporate limits in 1999.  The “A-2” Estate Residential District zoning automatically takes effect upon annexation.  The rezoning has been requested to make the existing single-family residence legally conforming with respect to lot area, lot width and setbacks.  The “R-1L” District requires a 90-foot minimum lot width, a 13,500 square-foot minimum lot area, and 12-foot minimum side yard setbacks.
