Current Project Status

100th Street Interchange: Approved

Current Roadway Improvements: The City is replacing the bridge over 100th Street to interchange standards.  Additionally, the City is widening 100th Street from Plum Drive to 54th Avenue.   

100th Street between Plum Drive and NW 54th Drive is closed. 

Planned work includes:
2016: 100th Street widening and bridge replacement currently underway.
2017:  Interchange ramps will be graded. 
2018:  Interchange ramps will be paved.

Interchange access at 100th Street is expected to be open to traffic at the end of 2018.

Iowa Highway 141 Flyover Ramp/Meredith Drive Access:
Pending Approval

The last step in the approval process is to host a public hearing on the project's environmental review.  Once the public hearing is held, the Federal Highway Administration will review all documentation and make a final determination.

Date: Monday, October 24th, 2016

Time: 5-7 PM.  Iowa DOT staff will be available to informally discuss the proposed improvements between 5 and 6 p.m. A formal presentation will begin at 6 p.m., followed by Q&A.
