Station Tours
Have you ever wanted to visit the Fire Station? Well you can! The Firefighters are happy to show you around the Fire Station. We will show you many of the tools and equipment that we use when we do our job. The Firefighters take the time to explain many of the things we do on a daily basis around the Fire Station. While touring the station you will learn important safety information that you can share with your parents. You can even climb up in the big red truck and see what it is like to be a real firefighter.

Living History Farms Halloween Visits
For the past 9 years The Urbandale Fire Department has worked closely with Living History Farms during the month of October to provide a safe Halloween Activity. Come visit the Firefighters at Living History Farms as we stand committed to safety this Halloween season. Our Firefighters hand out treats to the children while providing the adults with information on "How to have a safe Halloween and upcoming Holiday Season." The farm's visitors also have the opportunity to visit with the Firefighters and see up close the equipment and Fire Trucks we utilize.
