Senior Recreation Center
A balanced meal is served on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The meal is served at noon and the fee is $2.50. Reservations must be made by 1 p.m. the business day prior to the meal. (Monday reservations must be made by noon on Friday). View our current menu (PDF).

The Urbandale Senior Recreation Center offers activities Monday through Friday. Included are fitness activities, art classes, games, senior singers, yoga and more.

The Urbandale Senior Recreation Center offers something for everyone. Like to sing - we have the Senior Singers. Into Bridge - join a workshop or tournament. The Center also partners with AARP for driver safety courses. Learn more about our classes and programs.
A treadmill and recumbent cross-trainer are available for use on a first-come, first-served basis. A physician’s release (PDF) is required for all fitness activities.
Two pool tables are available for use on a first come-first play basis. Cues are available for your use as well.
The computer lab is available for independent use during regular center hours, unless there is a class or seminar in session (please call ahead to check schedule).
Urbandale residents may call the Caring Corps at 515-278-3999, for assistance with transportation.
